NABA SCHOOL OF MUSIC

 Description
Naba School of Music offers courses in the following: Music Theory (mandatory for all students), Keyboard by ear, Drums, Bass, Guitar and Vocal Training. Other instruments will be added as demand arises. We will eventually also offer supplementary courses for churches such as Worship Team Development, Musicianship and Songwriting. The courses will be given in degrees of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.

For students who advance in their music theory, they will eventually be prepared to sit the examinations of The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music. At the end of each term, students will be given an opportunity to use what they have learnt in the form of a showcase which will be held at Divine Visitation Assemblies
Central.

Each person will showcase what they have learnt during the course of the term and there will be room also for ensemble playing. At the end of the year (April – June Term) there will be a major concert, where all the
students will perform both individually and in ensembles on their instrument/voice, highlighting what they have learnt and using the skills to play and sing in a worship/concert setting. Students will also receive certificates of
participation/completion of the course.

Students will also be receiving, at the end of each term, a report on their progress. These reports will be sent on-line via e-mail.
